Eremnetes manni
26 June Pitmegea River, Cape Sabine, Alaska
On examining specimens and reading the
description in Peterson I found that I have been
misidentifying these birds, at least in part, as
Baird's Sandpipers. They are common but not as
abundant as the Semipalmated Sandpipers.

Aug 8 This bird has been regular in occurrence and
is the common middle-sized Sandpiper
in the area. Several groups were seen
on the mud flats today and they appear
to be moving through in migration.
