They rested in the drum area nearby but I was unable to collect them. 22 May This pair still at the dump this p.m. 27 May Warmrught, Alaska Ranch saw some at the Whaliy Camps 4 June Patnegea River, Cape Sabine, Alaska Collected one and saw 6t moe that acted as if they were nesting near the Wolverine Mt. They were active in lush tussocks where caribou had chewed up the vegetation in between. Knobs were found here also. 199m 2 seen on ridge near mt, across river 2+9m Was scolded by one at base of mt. behind lagoon. 309m Did not see any in area near Wolverine Mt. 28 July Patnegea River, 7mi SE Cape Sabine, Alaska 9 shots but it disappeared on gravel bar. 29 July Patnegea River, Cape Sabine, Alaska Several flew over near cape. 9 Aug One along beach.
