27 June Pitmegea River, Cape Sabine, Alaska
Again of these birds were seen with the godwits
in stream opposite falliment. Shot at one and they
both left. Nesting repeated but not confirmed.
3 July Again acting like they were nesting were seen at
the end of Owl Ridge. One came within 30' of me
and swallowing.
4 July The 9 was seen at east end of the transect.
24 July Pitmegea River, 2 miles SE Cape Sabine, Alaska
Collected one of several seen on the flat near
the lakes, at least 3 pairs. Long legged
[illegible] flow over headed west this
afternoon.
10 Aug Flock of 4 and several individuals flew
over headed west.
15 Aug Collected 2 immature near Owl Ridge
