June 17 2 on marsh. 20 Jun Several seen up river 26 Jun Flock of 10 flew up river at 2200 10 July A ? is definitely nesting in area w/asty low marsh. We have seen her several times now. A flock of 25 flew west off shore in various places 12 July 3? on marsh. 24 July Pitmeza River, 12 mi SE Cape Selina, Alaska We got one juvenile from a brood of 7 on the ponds to the most of the river. These ponds are perhaps 1000-1500 ft long with a well developed floating great log along one edge, a rather interesting spot.
