March 20 about 4000' elev., Chisos Mts., Brewster Co, Texas.
Saw 3 deer along road. They ran off into the
bush, flashing their white tails.
April 8 About 40 mi. SSW Matamoros, 5 mi. E San Pedro.
Saw a White-tail run across the road. Habitat =
mesquite, brush, cacti, growing very thick. Flat
country; elev. less than 100 ft.
