5.7 mi. S Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Took one
? with 4 large embryos in a live trap. Habitat - flat
country with large mesquite and some cacti, moder-
ately thick. Soil light gray-brown, a little sandy,
and fine.
May 9
Macho de Agua, 10 mi. ESE Zitacuarro, Michoacan.
Took 1?, 1? (no embryos) in traps set under high
brush on the steep N facing slope of a dry, deep gulch.
A few oaks, [illegible] small alders and much other brush
grew here.
May 14
1900 m. 9 mi. N Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco
Took one male in trap set near brush and dry grass
on hard soil; flat country; old corn field near.
May 15
2000 m. 3 mi. NE Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes.
Took 1? and 3 ?, no embryos, (young?) in traps set
on an E facing slope near nopal cactus, small leafless
brush, weeds, and dry grass. Soil hard and rocky.
