Pipistrellus sp.
March 31 2400+ ft. Rancho Rodeo, 7.3 mi. S Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Shot one ♂ bat of this species in the valley of a large canyon. They flew low over a wheat field near trees. On April 1, I shot 2 ♀ and 2 ♂s of this genus in same place. They were flying near Tadarida mexicana.
April 21 5700+ ft. 0.7 mi. S Puente Tasquillo, Hidalgo. Took one ♂ of this species last night near a small pond. Desert mountains country with several species of large cactus, large mesquite, and other brush present.
