April 21 5700± ft. 0.7 mi. S Puente Taquillo, Hidalgo, Mexico.
Took 5♂ and 2♀ (one with 2 embryos) of this species. Desert mountainous country with several species of large cactus,
mesquite, and other brush sparsely present. Terrain rocky.
April 22 8000± ft. Piramides de San Juan Testihuacán, Mexico.
Took one male near pile of small rocks, weeds, pepper
Tree and prickly-pear cactus. S.B. Benson took many
more than 7 at this place by setting traps along large
rock walls with numerous trees and cacti along them.
