April 6 Elevation less than 100 ft. 2 1/2 mi. ESE Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Took 1 ?, 1 ? (no embryos) in traps set in habitat of mesquite and prickly pear cactus. Soil fine and gray brown in color. Brush fairly open - enough to walk through in most places.
April 9 Elev. less than 100 ft. 5 1/7 mi. S Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Took one ? in mouse trap at night. Habitat - flat country with medium thick growth of mesquite and other brush and a little cactus. Soil fine, slightly sandy and light gray brown color.
April 17 Km. 755, Cruz y Cruz, 2 9 mi N Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. Took 1 ?, 2 ? in traps set along edge of corn field, next brush.
May 15 2000 m. 3 mi. NE Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes. Took one ? in a trap set in a small gulch. Plants present were nopale cactus, small leafless brush, weeds, dry grass. Soil hard and stony.
