March 14 Nogales, Santa Cruz Co., Arizona. On our way to Mexico on
a collecting trip, S.B. Brunam and I stopped to see Mr. Fred
Dille of this town. Mr. Dille had saved a Cougar skull
which he kindly gave to us for the MVZ, University of Calif.
This cat was shot on the ranch of William Hathaway about
2 weeks ago by the owner. The ranch is about 7 mi. N.E. of
Nogales and comprises 4020 acres of arid, rocky, mountainous
land
