Habitat- forest of small pines, oaks, and other species of trees, light underbrush, openfields. Mountainous country. These bats flew near scattered pines on the ridge near camps. They flew from 5 to 30 ft or higher, above the ground. May April 1 9600 ft. 5 mi. E Amecameca, Mexico. Shot one ♂ in the evening in habitat of medium thick conifer forest. May 5 10,800 ft. La Providencia, NW slope Popocatepetl, Mexico. Shot 4 ♂ of this species along the road in a fir forest.
