April 19 7100 ft. Magney Verde, 8.5 mi. NE Zamapan, Hidalgo.
Shot 2 moles of this species after sundown. Habitat-
forest of small pines, oaks, and other species of trees, light
underbrush, openfields. Mountainous country. These bats
flew near scattered pines on the ridge near camps. They
flew from 5 to 30 ft or higher, above the ground.

in the evening in habitat of medium thick conifer
forest.
May 5 10,800 ft. La Providencia, NW slope Popocatepetl, Mexico.
Shot 4 ♂ of this species along the road in a fir
forest.
