Dipodomys ordii
March 19
2450' ± Coopers Well, 47 mi. S Marathon, Brewster Co., Texas.
Took one ♀ (no embryos) in mouse trap baited with oatmeal and
birdseed, about 10 or 11 PM. Taken in Creosote and Mesquite
growing on sandy flat plain. D. merriami and Perognathus
and Peromyscus eremius
pericillatus were taken in same habitat. Also took one ♂ D.
ordii.
May 17
1900 m. 1 mi. N Elcalote, Aguascalientes.
Took one ♂ and one ♀ in traps set near brush
on the edge of an old field. Along here also
were taken D. specabilis, D. ordii, Perognathus
hispidis and Perognathus flavus.
May 19
2 mi. NW San Luis Potosi, San Luis Potosi. Took one
♀ (no embryos) on light gray-brown sandy soil along a
dry gulch with a little brush, weeds, and a few
trees near.
