Taked a male in mouse trap set on sandy earth among
creosote and mesquite brush, flat country. Taken at night.
?in same habitat also took Dipodomys merriami,
crossed out
Perognathus penicillatus and Peromyscus eremicus.

400'+ elev. 38 mi. S of Nuevo Laredo in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Took a ? in trap, probably immature, no embryos. ?in habitat
of open brush on rocky ground. Took Peromyscus leucopus,
and Perognathus merriami nearby.

1900 m. 1 mi. N Chicalote, Aguascalientes.
Took one ? (large)
(2 embryos) of this species in an almost
open field with a few small bushes nearby.
This specimen had a white tip to its tail,
resembling D. spectabilis, which also lives
here. Nearby, in addition, I took Perognathus
hispidus, Perognathus flavus, and Dipodomys
gordii.

one ? (no embryos) in a field of Maguey plants; soil
sandy and light gray - brown color.

1 mi. W Hacienda la Parada, 20 mi. NW San Luis
Potosi, San Luis Potosi. Took 4 females of this
species in traps set on rocky soil among brush
and cacti. Country of low hills, vegetation of
medium thickness.
