General Account
June 8 (cont.) In the evening we arrived at Cuddy
Valley, near Mt. Pinos, Ventura Co. [illegible] I set
17 live traps for mice at the head of the valley,
on fine sandy soil among thick sage brush.
June 9 Caught 8 Peromyscus maniculatus in my traps.
In the afternoon we arrived in Berkeley
at the end of our trip.
