May 26, Russian Gulch State Park Mendocino Co. left 200' elev.
almost 40 yds. and 10 and 20 paces
from a large house caught an adult ♀
and an immature ♀ respectively. The
latter was somewhat mutilated by another
animal but was still good enough to
put up.
May 27, A trap set about 20 paces off the old
road and about 2 paces from a
Woodrat's nest. The trap caught
an adult ♀. A trap was
also set in the same locality
as on May 26 near the nest
which caught 2 ♀ the day before.
The trap was springing and the
bait eaten. The ♀ caught today had
2 5mm. embryos.
