Sonoma Creek 5/8 mi N Highway 37 Bridge Sonoma Co., Calif. No running water. Tall trees, lamal etc. Bds very scarce. Many big pools. Saw 3 bds in .3 mi. Then came to a wide place about 100 yd X 50yds which was very open, & had lots young Salix & 6' high Polygonum acre & some Typha. Much clear water in stream bed. Were at least 20 birds here, also some finchins. Was constant activity calling some singing even tho windy.
