Spartina very extensive however usually felt 25 or more yds wide along bay - top 10" or so high, taller where submerged up to 21" not yet in flower. Last years stalks on lower edge were about 32". the whole place indoors as natural areas are concerned is same as Anaheim Bay except god lower & more Spartina x less flats; a home for Savannah Sparrows. No place for Song Sparrows - only in unnatural areas patches of higher growth due to accum. of fresh water due to roads, etc. But some of latter salty with a few sparrows: Cooperi OK for salt habitat. Saw a White-tailed Kite. A patch willows nr. salt works dry - no sparrows.
