May 12 Alviso Santa Clara Co. Calif.
alviso slough (.5m south from turn) was gap
of 1100 yds where slough goes then pastern,
and has only 3-8 ft. saliniine on
overhanging banks - is tidal bar, however.
lacks grundlee. See quadrangle for vegetation
willow at 900yds, S. Row thicklt 950.
On south side bridge over hwy 9, is
dense s. acutus with at least 1 ss &
Restrictions of willows from low s makes
some small detached populations.
Grudaluge River - for seg see WD map. SS
found everywhere along it - saliniine ->
Cominus, Botachuis, -> willows. Good
Contina population. Willows cut down in
one area but ss in orchard & Comin.
alviso -> Coyote Creek See quadrangle. No ss
in the Typha marsh of an acre or so (with
many ducks, dorithus, par black-necked stilte)
Note 2 patches of willows - if any SS
then would be very small detached populations.
But detached very far from [illegible] Creek,
however.
