But on the crest, where fog is caught, gigantic chaparral- willows tall (20') Geonthus, etc ferns - must have contin.. SS population. The (going inland) apparently contin. SS in moist undergrowth & Redwood, then oak- madrone down bay slope, then finally rests to willows along streams by time reach flat oak-grassland.
