See Marshall & Carguinez quadrangles This map 5 mi. wide Pinole salt marsh Rodeo SPRR main highway Rideo Creek little typha marsh here no song sp. at This point a large fill SS here Some willows left here willows used to go clear to tracks along creek no cut down & plowed. willows still here good habitat. SRFRR creek here in deep gulley providing habitat 50-100 yds wide with willows, Baccharis, etc. Pindie Pinole Creek April 11 Southampton Bay, Solano Co., Calif. ( & Napa Co. Calif.) Count of singing S's made - covered half of marsh (see accompanying map), up to start of grindeia. In lower (S) half, ss restricted to Scirpus along bay front & narrow scirpus along sloughs. Not in Salicornia. Later went to north Carneros Cr. (Cutting wharf) SS go only 100 yds up marsh when there is Salicornia farther up is Baccharis. Saw white-tailed kite. Bull'd. Looks like ba Baccharis habitat only around edge.
