Sept. 23, 1933.
This morning I had a little change of luck and was able to procure a two point buck. Ward got one 116 lb. doe, but had to go a long ways for it. Deer seem to be getting scarcer in this area. Perhaps our hunting here has made them more than usually cautious, or else has driven some of them to some other section of the ranch. Bob [illegible] was with us this morning, and he and Ward saw a pure white fawn, but were unable to procure it.
