any. However, I did get another rattlesnake, the third so far on this trip. It was only a small one with me rattle and 2 button. It was lying in one of the trails through the grass in our deer "acres"
After dinner tonight we had still more productive activity. We went out in the truck with two of the boys from the ranch. We were going to hunt skunks by headlight and spot light. We went down along Angel Slough (see see map). We were fortunate to see two skunk, and we shot and collected both, a large male and a large female. They were striped. They seem to be slow and sluggish at least, when the lights of the car are on them. Rather surprising, considering they are carnivores and depend on catching live food for sustenance. However, their fat heavy bodies, their short stumpy legs would seem to bear this fact out - i.e. their sluggishness.
The weather today has been good. We want to Chico this afternoon to get some rifle shells, all in all, a big day.
