Kaye - 1933. NW part Kelsoe Valley, 4500 ft., Nov. 26, 1933. The bait was taken from two of my eryotes sets last night. The traps were uncovered but not spring. They were only one-trap sets. Now since the eryotes will take the bait I'll make two and three trap sets. My trap line down in the valley produced three dipos, two tree, one sonorinsis and three neotomae. 424 Dipodomys mohavensis ♂ wt: 63 295-175-44-15 425 Dipodomys mohavensis ♀ wt: 53 288-180-41-13 426 Dipodomys mohavensis ♂ wt: 59 290-172-44-16 427 Neotoma fuscipes ♀ wt: 197 380-175-36-32 428 Neotoma lepida ♂ wt: 189 310-125-32-30 429 Neotoma lepida ♂ wt: 153 305-131-34-33 430 Ammospermophilus ♂ wt: 109 210-55-36-11 431 Neotoma lepida ♂ wt: 163 324-148-33-32 432 Neotoma lepida ♀ wt: 134 310-140-31-39 433 Neotoma lepida ♀ wt: 107 280-125-38-31 434 Dipodomys mohavensis ♂ wt: 62 285-175-44-14 435 Dipodomys mohavensis ♂ wt: 66 295-175-44-14 436 Sylvilagus bachmani ♀ wt: 590 355-50-80-63 Hunting has not been profitable in the valley, so I hunted this morning on the north facing slope of this canyon. I shot one brush rabbit, one beewick war, one sage sparrow and one fox sparrow. Besides there I saw another brush rabbit I didn't get.
