Kaye - 1933. SW part Walker Basin, Kern Cs., Nov. 4, 1933. associating have produced no perognathus. The sand-thistle is the my association which seems to contain mammals. Many dipos & many prangyous live here. I caught one dips and five prangyous here this morning, but that's all I got. I shot two audubon warblers from a small flock in a cottonwood, and I shot me junce from a small flock in the willows. I saw a hairy and a willow woodpecker, new to the camp. I only saw about 12 horned larks, but didn't get a shot at them. Ray took a dipos a few feet from camp; 325 Dipodomys agilis 326 Horned lark 327 Horned lark wt: 76 315-96-46-19 wt. 30 ad. wt. 30 ad. Nov. 5, 1933- I am about convinced that there are no perognathus in the basin. None of my 50 perognathus traps caught anything.
