page - 1933. 84 SW end Walker Basin, Kern Co., Calif., - Nov. 2, 1933. - ✓ 318 Peromyscus m. sonoriensis ♀ wt: 20 153-74-20-17 ✓ 319 Dipodomys agilis p. ♀ wt: 66 300-180-43-18 We set up camp last night on Mrs. Rankin's property, at the south end of the big willow patch which occupies the west center part of the basin. I ran a trap line of 18 mouse traps through the willows, setting my traps at the foot of trees, out in the open and all other associations available within the willows. I caught two peromyscus sonoriensis at the foot of trees, and one dipodomys agilis at the foot of trees. I set out two gopher sets but didn't catch anything. Tonight, while setting out a longer trap line I shot a horned lark and two butcher birds. The temperature this morning was 25° F. - Nov. 3rd, 1933. - Trap record: leaving my willow line intact, last night I set out 10 traps in the Russian thistle, and 12 traps in the sandy draws, and areas near the
