After blowing up a storm all day yesterday, it snowed last night. The snowfall wasn't heavy in the meadow being more of a "sleetty frost" than snow. However the higher hill slopes had from 1/2 inch to 1 inch snowfall fall. The hunting was poor this morning. All morning I only saw one bird, a steller jay. From my traps I cought only two boylei. Ray caught a pack rat in the willows. as soon as we got back from camp our trap lines we broke camp. We left the meadows about noon. We drove by way of Kelsoe valley and Kemville back to Walker Basin. 317 Neotoma fuscipes ♂ wt: 296 405-190-38-34
