In recent years flooding of the land has occurred less and less often. It has been five years since any more than normal flooding of the land has occurred. According to several authorities there are no beaver in here at the present time. Mr. Baber says he would not be averse to their introduction to this territory. There are several localities favorable to beaver, especially Perkins and Eddy's Lakes. (See accompanying Newhard Quadrangle for location of these lakes.)
