Lyon 1940 Black footed Albatross Wake - many times reported that there were 3 black gooney on Wake. Boyd (Chamorro) said he have brought one back to station on about Feb 1 Feb 14 - One seen on wing near Sabell wreck. definite - 100 feet. 3:30 P.M. Feb 17 - another seen Dock Wilher March 10 - Ferguson reported seeing 4 ?? March 20 - Carcase of the one boys brought back from Wake found top of beach April 2 - 12:30 Wake, one under Stounfortia & 50 yds back from shore 3/4 mi east of Reascrock point plodded out from under tree & took off when we were 50 feet away Aug 23 - No More seen
