9:30 AM 1:30 PM moderate east wind followed shore of lagoon to far corner crossed to ocean one mile east of Peacock point back along ocean shore. Accompanied by Bill Riverly, Harry Sweeter. found about 20 glow balls - all small

9:45 AM to 11:AM banded 'Sooty Tern' of Colony along Wake channel, Peale side, No 3 bands stamped 40, Style 1242, 315,401-315,455 Mature birds - caught by knocking down with a piece of rope. 315,456 ~~ 315,471 young birds, couldn't fly.

10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M crossed channel via sand bar went thru Brown booby colony between channel and Peale point crossed over to lagoon side went up as far as fruit inlet walked back along lagoon, swam channel, took 100 photographs, day clear partly cloudy moderate ESE wind.
