50 minute walk (5:10 to 6:00 PM) from hotel
to beach by dock along beach to opposite
cable station back to hotel then cable
station grounds.

1 Black footed albatross - fewer than last, nesting
margin of beach, eggs
2 Laysan albatross - nesting in colonies, eggs 2% hatched
3 Brown booby - 5
4 Frigate bird - 3
5 Sharp tailed sandpiper - 2
6 Turnstone - 2 flocks of 100 each on beach
7 Sandpiling - 2
8 Breastled thiged curlew - 5
9 Golden plovel - 10, feeding on wave washed beach
10 Wandering tatler - one
11 Love tern - 10
