Frigate bird m ♀ Feb 11 cought at sea on red head plug Wake Is #80 Noddy Anous stolidus, apparently adult but skull not thickened, cut fairly easy with iron, ♂, teters somewhat enlarged, one 7 mm (longer) width this one one 5 mm, dark in color June 23 1940 bill black, feet much lighter slightly flesh color. Shot with 22 long, in flight near northern end of Pearl Is. #81 Wandering Tatler Heteroscelus incanus. mature ♀ June 29 1940; Bill dark grey brown, feet yellow, faintly olive. Shot with 22 dust shot along North shore of Pearl Is. Another bird was with this one. #82 Sooty Tern Sterna fuscata oahuensis mature ♀ July 4 1940 bill & feet black Knocked down with a rope at nesting
