June 29 - 10 A.M. Peal - Tbt 4 miles seen North end of island on the young black bars-on-white stage.
Oct 10 - Peal - For the first time in a month or two tropic birds were noticed at lunch time flying backwards
Oct 23 - Peal Bird on new nest by alongside tree by oil drum back of hotel - not there yesterday. Pinkbird cast to feathers one tail feather 4" long. Mrs. Broder (Hotel Commissary's wife) reports seeing a Boob bird looking for nesting site last fall November, would spot tree from above then come down and fly around it just over ground - squawking loudly - Hot not decided in 15 minute search.
