.yons 1939 Tropic Bird pg a June 9 1939 - 10:45, Peal - One or nest under bush just North of Hotel grounds. When nest investigated one egg - Showed difrance but set very little spirit bit, but not hard, sewed back. Nest just a slight depression June 20 - Peal. The above sight investigated egg there but apparently has been abandon June-22- For the past 2 weeks I have noticed Boen birds flying backwards. lunchtime (11:30 - 12:30) do it in groups, make & lots of noise. Body verticle r fan, then swoop down r often up again, oft three or four in a continuous series June 25 For part three days much chasing of Boen birds by Frigate birds - Squak never saw one diving. One dove at 45° from 100 yds up to young in front of hotel no Frigate in sight
