? Saxelipus? dove grey
April 1 p.m. 9 A.M.
One seen at north east corner of chicken yard allowed approach of 50 feet
dove grey uniform to upper parts white underneath a tiny white dot at side between neck and breast shaped like sharp tailed except wings not held so close to body at front probably slightly larger Wagged tail vertically almost constantly. Sweetser says he saw one this day.
May 23 no more such birds seen
