July 6
Brookes Mdw, Hood River Co., Oregon
The catch was:
Peromyscus maniculatus 2♂ 2♀
Eutamias townsendii 1♂ 1♀
Thommys monticola 1♂
The Peromyscus were all caught among
logs and underneath in heavy timber
except one which was caught at
the edge of the Mdw. The Thommyns was
cought in the Mdw. and the Eutamias
were caught in heavy timber among
fallen logs. One Bupb boreas was
cought last evening after dark in
the Mdw. near camp.
July 7

Yesterday afternoon I caught the following
Citellus lateralis 1♀
Thomomys monticola 1♂
Spizella passerina 2♂
Lasionycteris noctivagans 1♂
The Citellus was caught in the
Mdw. at the mouth of a burrow in
a gopher trap; the Thomomys was
also caught in the Mdw. with a
gopher trap; the Spizellas were shot
along the edge of the Mdw out of
the lower branches of conifers, the
Lasionycteris was shot at the edge
