Longhurst 1939 Reithrodonomys halicoetes E. side Napa R., ½ mi. S Cuttings Wharf, Napa Co., Calif. Oct. 7 2 ♂♀ mice were caught on this date. Both were taken on ground slightly above high tide level and covered by a growth of Salicornia. Traps baited with oatmeal were set on Microtus runways. Oct. 21 1 ♂, 2 ♀ were collected at the same locality. The ♂ was caught in a trap under a bush of Gindelia cuneifolia and not on an especial Microtus run. However, Salicornia was present on all sides. The 2 ♀ were taken on Microtus runs beneath Salicornia.
