in grass for seeds - run about stopping
every few ft. One went about 25 yd
from burrow.
12:05 The one on opposite side of gully slowly
moved over to burrow, started to
search about on gr.
A small one seen climbing a fence
post - remained there about 5 min.
12:15 As I arose to leave the one across
gulley uttered alarm note and entered
burrow. Stationary objects do not
alarm them. (Red-tailed hawks perch
while searching for prey.), When
alarm note was uttered a squirrel
100 yd downhill sat upright searching
for possible danger - seeing more
it resumed feeding.

a road bank made through reclaimed
