Today I received 1 ♀ Corynorhinus intermedius from Don Hemphill. It was still alive & had been collected by him on Oct.27 in a cave near Linden Falls, Angwin Cr., 1500 ft., 1 mi. S Angwin, Napa Co., Calif. Another ♀ had been collected at the same time. Nov.4 Hinchica Cr. On the night of Nov.2 I drove up from Berkeley, but did not reach home in time to set out traps. On Nov.3 I made 7 sets of steel traps, #1½ & #2. 2 sets were made along an old stone wall at the edge oak forest. Two sets beside the Cr., under large St. bay trees; 1 set at the bottom of a small side wash under blue oaks & Buckeye; one at the mouth of a den in a ledge of rock surrounded by
