It was caught with oatmeal along the water's edge where there was a considerable growth of water-cress. Aug 16 Baker Cr., 11,100ft, White Pine Co., Nevada 19 water shrew was collected here. It was taken in a trap baited with oatmeal and set under an overhanging mossy bank where the Cr. flowed swiftly through a small marshy meadow,
