Dipodomys heermanni
June 28 H mi, NE Weed, Ft. Siskiyou Co., Calif.
Dipodomys were found at this locality
only on the level sandy ground
and not in the rocks about the
bases of low hills. The ground was
covered sparsely with sagebrush and
antelope brush. Their mounds from
their burrows are very abundant.
