July 27 Stay a while Spr. Columbia Co, Wash.
in heavy timber north of camp.
Driving up to camp a yearling doe Odocoileus hemionus hemionus was
seen along with a blue grouse.
two or Odocoileus sp. were collected - see sp. acct.
July 28 Stay a while Spr, Columbia Co, Wash.
The 20 rat traps set on the
night of the 26th caught:
Lepus Washingtonii 1 ?
Sciurus ludsonicus 1 ?
On the night of the 27th 13 rat traps
were set in the same locality N.W. of
camp in heavy timber, they were baited
with primes. Four sets of spring traps
No. 1/2-3 were made on the ridge
along the main road about 1 mi. NW
of camp. The traps were baited with
meat and set among rather open
timber. The spring traps caught
nothing, but the rat traps caught:

Enterias amoenus 1 ?
July 29 Stay a while Spr. Columbia Co. Wash.
The night of the 28th 11 of the rat
traps were left out and the spring
traps were also left out. The catch was:
Citellus columbianus 1 ? 1 ?
