Itinerary
July 22 1 mi N Burbank, 350 ft., Walla Walla Co., Wash.
mouth and collected 3 Lepus californicus,
2 magpies, and 1 cliff swallow. On the
evening of the 21st Chettin and
I drove [illegible] of Pasco and set
mouse traps at the following localities,
and caught:
5 mi. ENE Pasco, 500 ft., Franklin Co., Wash.
40 traps set 5-10 yds apart in rolling
grebrush hills. I collected 2 Sylvilagus nuttalli.

8 mi. ENE Pasco, 650 ft., Franklin Co., Wash.
40 traps set 5-10 yds apart along a
cagebrush covered sand dune.

Onychomys leucogaster 10 of 19
Reithrodontomyz megalotis 10 of 19
Several Spelospoma were collected.
July 23 1 mi N Burbank, 350 ft. Walla Walla Co., Wash.
On the evening of the 22nd Chettin
Tevis and I drove to the following
locality to set traps:
3 1/2 mi W Kennewick, 550 ft., Benton Co., Wash.
3 sets of gopher traps were made
in an alfalfa field. No catch.
The alfalfa field was at the edge
of the sagebrush which had been grazed
heavily by sheep.
