#3 - 6 young 3½ feet up in 4ft willow,
spewy with down curl. Nest lined with
ptarmigan feathers and cotton sedge tufts.
#4 - 6 eggs (fresh), 1 foot up in willow
1 ft high, lined with ptarmigan feathers
and cotton sedge tufts.
14 June Peters - Schwedel L. - Nests as follows
#1, 5 eggs (sub = 20 mm - full form) -
on ground under 10" high willow on
flood plain of Carnivene, lined with
ptarmigan feathers & cotton sedge tufts.
Seen spawning, all the eggs
up Carnivene to James Robert Lake.
19 June Unniat - Nest - 4 eggs, 2 ft up on
dead willow snag, with green everston
up 10 ft, lined with ptarmigan feathers
on right limit bank of Lower Sea
Bee Creek.
Nest on T3 at stake 5.0 - on
the ground - on a mound at base of
willow 18" high - 5 eggs - lined
with ptarmigan feathers and cotton
sedge tufts.
21 June Unniat - Nest in void from cump to
airstrip - 6 eggs, 2"2 ft up in alder
with crown of left - lined with ptarmigan
feathers, cavibour hair & cotton tufts.
