T. Code 1958 3-9 Areg Acanthus horrens cov- the river of valley from the flood plain to high up on the alluvial fans on the wall of the valley. On 9th three wolves seen in the high country above Comfort Creek at about 11000 feet. No brush or shrubs in this area but lots of rocky taluses. Some red falls may be flammeos in this area. Two thrupped in the net are very deep red in color as vs white grumps, 18-22 August Jygo Lake-most clewvylant liquid in the brushy and dry-off fresh areas. At 1415 on 19th I flushed a recently fledged juvenile that could hardly fly. At 2200 in the same area I flushed the same or another juvenile which fluttered in the brush and barely escaped before I got my hand on it. Some males are still in breeding plumage. September Meade River- Coalmines- heard around ARL warigun. September Meade River - flock of about a dozen new in the weeds bordering the airstrip. Meade River - flock of about 30 seen flying around the village in late evening - 1900. 5 Sept. Meade R. - see general account of this date.
