I. Cade 1957 Plectrophenax nivalis 31 May Seen abundantly in the car area south of ARL - some with bands. Pairing and establishment of territories is getting under way. 11 June Few peregrines seen in the immediate vicinity of Weinmannight village - none out on the adjacent tundra. 5-16 July Paint Lory Three individuals seen around the site and one at the village on the sandpit across the lagoon. 27-30 July Pitt Point Common all about the decolite tsite least not seen away from the installation. Juncville were roosting under the modules on pieces of heavy equipment, trucks, etc. Reg (North) Jago River Ed Sable said he had seen quite a few eagles in the season last week on the high slopes of the peaks - such as Jag Mountain and Marie Mountain & higher. He saw nests on steeper slopes.
