T. Code 1959 Calcaurus lapponicus 4 June - cent- tierock - in moss outer part of dried redge stins - lined with longspur feathers. On SW-facing slope. Another in the creek bottom: core of tierock, as before - lined with longspur feathers and sheep hair, 5 eggs 5 June Peters - Shurles, being up ad f on west side of lake. 6 June Peters - Schyoder L - seen rather common along Cassin river. Some males still in display flight. Several chasing seen. Nests as follows: (1) - 20 yds S of camp - 5 eggs, on gentle slope of new bore on ridge of a molo peat mound with a dead broken off willow branch lying over it - lined with ptarmigan and longspur feathers. 8 June Peters - Schyoder L - very common in the tierock meadows on the far SE side Schyoda. Males seen in display. Also several in good numbers on the tierock ground between the two lakes, less common in areas where tierock are absent -
