Calcanies lapponicus 1. Code 1959 31 May cent display flightz and paired levels seen but display is not so censifi- cious as in case of pipits and Baird's swalfigers. Much less common that at Pitweger. No pities seen today. Wainweight to Bawneu - as we flew along coast, there was a noticeable piling up of flocks of lungsferw at the coast perfecepely along some of the high banks which are free of snow. 29 May 1 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - seen in all areas visited today. 2 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - seen rather frequently at all elevations on walk crew to Whistler h - except in the pres of the divide itself. A pair with an extra 87 was seen just over the slope into Whistler. Seen at intervals all along Whistler but no so common as pipits. 4 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - rather more common in the valley of "Bates Cr" Two nests of falcons. One found on the mid slope veining down- into the head of 'Bretto' Cr - 5 eggs, in a recess at base of E. vagivator
