Coele 1957 Zonotrichia leucophrys 18-22 june - Unniat - rovecery or heard in the brushy areas where a few are usually to be found. 28-29 june, Unniat - several seen along T10 and a member were caught in the traps. 10 August Jago Lake A juvenile was caught in the quilt-net set by "Upper Lake" 12 August Jago Lake Another juvenile in the net 12 August Jago Lake Heard abundantly and seen at a distance in the brush along T2. Apparently a flock of 4-8. The characteristic song was heard several times. I believe these birds have just moved into this area - perhaps migrating from nesting grounds farther down streams. August Jago Lake - first bird in adult plumage seen today in willows along the river.
