T. Code 1958 Passerelles sandwichensis 30 June Cool Mine, Meade River, Alaska - Half a dozen or so new in reedbeds along the bank of the river just below the cullog. Also seen on edge-groves- wellows marsh ground around T4. 10 July Uniat, Alaska - several seen along the air strip in the area of T6, 11 July Uniat - one each, adult, caught on T7 & T5 today. 9 August Okfilak River - one of the three commonest birds - perhaps the commonest- in the river valley. Occurs in wet areas of dry shrub and tall grasses and edges - lake shores, stream beds- hillside drainages etc - altitudinal range to elevation of about 2600 ft. Not seen in the high country on Contact Creek on 9th. 22 August Jogo Lake - numbers decidedly down from last year. Half a dozen seen in wet areas of the flood plain on a 2½ mile walk. Few others seen in wet ravines on the hillsides, but none captured yet in mist-net. One caught in trap on T4.
