Spizella arborea
18-22 June, Unniat - O less seen in lowerly copses
but conspicuously less abundant than
last year - I would say not more than
1/4 as many one heard as last year.
Perhaps precociously like 1952.
5 August Jago Lake
On my express walk I saw between 20-30 individuals in rock
strips and in willow thickets -
both on the high bluffs and also
wrigt along the river. A number of
females was seen.
6-8 Aug. Jago Lake
Fairly common in all lvesley
areas but not conspicuously more
common than the Savannah sparrow.
-12 Aug Jago Lake
Common in brush everywhere.
2 Aug Jago Lake - Still about in same
members.
